PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

A low profile, spring loaded, cable reeling drum is mounted to the base boom section while a cable is attached to the head of the boom. The drum rotates proportionally with the boom, telescoping length and this rotation is monitored by a potentiometer. The length signal is sent to the display, which houses the CPU and graphic LCD display. After processing & conditioning here the signal is sent to display device. The payout cable is used to sense the overhoisting of the hook through a limit switch.
